Saves RAW files as JPEG (with no size or compression options). What this means is that even if you are working with JPEGs it probably doesn't just add the metadata, but resaves the file. So it will always decease the quality of any photo. I just threw three bucks down the drain. But hey, it is only three bucks.

I gave this App 4 stars for one reason. You must process the pictures in its desktop app before importing to iPhoto. If your like me, I use iPhoto straight from the camera, this will add a few extra steps to the process. Otherwise this app works perfectly and does a great job! I would suggest it for anyone who likes the places feature... now my DSLR and Point and Shoot will have GeoTagging like the iPhone..
Works as indicated
I downloaded and installed this app this morning, made sure my time on my camera was synced with my phone and went about taking pictures outside. As indicated in an earlier review, you do have to process the pictures in the desktop app to a folder on the computer and then upload into iPhoto. It would be nice if the desktop app could simply modify the files on the camera memory card with the geo-location data but I suppose they then run the risk of damaging the photos on the memory card. Additionally I would love to see the app take advantage of the proximity sensor on the phone and have the screen go black when the phone is placed in your pocket, to conserve battery life. Maybe in version 1.1?
